Keyword Research Secrets to Explode Your Affiliate Business
You know one of the biggest reasons that so many affiliates are struggling is because what I call clone thinking. That is they do affiliate marketing like they’re following some cookbook recipe.
In particular when it comes to keyword research, they’ll go into a market like dog training. They’ll start by brain storming some possibilities :

and maybe a few more
They most likely got these right from the sales letter of the dog training ebook. Then they’ll put these into a keyword tool like wordtracker, and finally throw the results into separate adgroups. After running the campaigns for a few days they’ll discover that the keywords are too expensive and bid them down to the second page.
After optimizing the campaign for 3 months, they’ll think : “Damn! What am I doing wrong, I making 5 sales a day, with 50% ROI. How are these super affiliates making 50 sales a day with 100% ROI?!?”

From your slide it had the “look” of a keyword tool that had generated the list of breeds and a separate list of words related to “behavior.” I ran a search for dog breeds and wikipedia has a great entry, and searches on “types of behavior” came up with good results too. So from there I guess I would dump the lists into Excel and create the keyword combos. That’s pretty easy to do.

Launching an Affiliate Offer: From Zero to Profitability, Part II
Okay at this point, if you’ve followed part I, we have a campaign with a landing page that converts, and we’re bidding on the right keywords, and our campaign is either breaking even, or slightly negative or positive.
Now it time for the fun part, optimization!
Optimization is both an art and a science, the more experience you have doing it the better, and better, you get at it.
I’m going to discuss some techniques and thought processes I use when I optimize my ppc campaigns, but remember the best way to learn how to do this is through spending hours upon hours on one campaign after another optimizing!
Here’s what you need to focus on:
COST PER CONVERSION:
You see this column if you have Google conversion tracking turned on, and it is THE most important metric you need to track. Cost/Conv. tell you how much you need to spend to make 1 sale. So if it’s $5 for your campaign and the payout is $7, then you make $2 profit for each sale.
SPLIT TESTING ADS:
Your first goal is to get the Cost/Conv. of all your high traffic adgroups as low as possible while preferably maintaining your ad position on the first page.
The best way to do this is to split test 2 ads at a time. You’d be amazed at the difference in conversion rate of 2 different ads. Test different headlines, body copy, display urls, etc.
Find the ad with the lowest Cost/Conv., not necessarily the highest conversion rate since you can have a low CTR ad with a high conversion rate but your Cost/Conv may be high since Google will force you to more for click for an ad with low CTR. You need to find an ad the gets a good CTR AND a high conversion rate.
As far as quality score goes (including landing page quality score), please refer to this post. Remember quality score ONLY effects your minimum bids, nothing else.
As far as split testing ads, keep your focus on your top traffic adgroups. Remember the 20/80 principle
EXPANDING & TRACKING KEYWORDS:
A great way increasing your traffic is to go into your top traffic adgroups and use the Google keywords suggestion tool to add keywords directly to your adgroups.
Once you had enough data, start to monitor which keywords are converting to sales and which are not. Adjust bids, at the keyword level, accordingly.
ADJUSTING ADGROUP BIDS:
This is the main method you will use to optimize your campaign. The simple fact is some keywords just convert WAY better than other, and if you have your campaign setup with tightly targeted adgroups then you’ll know exactly what set of keywords convert and which don’t by just tracking the Cost/Conv of each adgroup.
Here’s some tips when adjusting bids, assuming you have an offer paying out $10 per sale, and your goal is 100% ROI, or Cost/Conv. equal to $5.
Lower bids on adgroups by 10% that have a Cost/Conv greater than $10
Raise bids on adgroups that have a Cost/Conv less than $5.
If you have an adgroup where you spend $20 (2X payout) and no sales, pause it.
If you have an adgroup with a Cost/Conv greater than $20, pause it.
Repeat the above steps until you converge onto a Cost/Conv of $5
That’s it, some basic optimization tips you can take to the bank.
WARNING:
If you use these optimization tips, PLEASE wait until you have statistically relevant data. Lose money for a while if you have to, but don’t make rash decision.
Optimizing your campaigns is REALLY easy as long as you can control your emotions and not freak out that you’re losing money.
Don’t be stupid.
Don’t be rash.
Don’t panic.
AND don’t be afraid to lose money while optimizing your campaigns. Losing money in the beginning is PART OF THE PROCESS.

That has substantial profit potential, if I can’t potentially make several $1000 a day profit with the offer, I don’t waste my time with it
The next step is to find a good list of keywords using tools such as Wordtracker, Google Keywords Tool, etc. There’s dozens of keyword tools on the market so take your pick!
And no, the secret is NOT in the keyword tool you’re using.
Make sure you do a thorough job with keyword research, read this post of mine to get some insights on how to do that.
Now Once you’ve done your keyword research, & setup your Adwords campaign (tightly targeted Adgroups with relevant adcopy) you have a decision to make:
Do you make a landing page for this offer or do you do Googlecash?
I would strongly recommend making a landing page. However, if you’re still testing the offer, the best way to do that is to buy a domain name and do a framed redirect to the affiliate site.
Google doesn’t allow this, but they won’t catch on for months. It’s just for testing, so no worries.
If you’re serious about the offer then construct a landing page. If you don’t know where to start regarding your landing page design, I would recommend doing a little market research by studying what other affiliates are doing, what elements are similar in their landing pages.
And then construct your own UNIQUE landing page.
I know some of you have a hard time with that part, but trust me, if you only rip people off you’re only cheating yourself-you won’t learn anything and you’ll ultimately limit your own success.
I would recommend using a good split test program to set up a split test url for your Google campaign right off the bad.
Also, make sure you have your affiliate manager install Google conversion tracking and your split test tracking code on the thank page, and if they refuse drop the offer and move on.
You always want to do an A/B split test on your landing page AND use crazyegg to determine how many people are clicking through to the affiliate offer, and what affiliate link they’re clicking on.
Test the colors, headline, graphics, anything you can think of.
TEST!
Once you’ve launched your offer you want to carefully monitor it. The first sign of a healthy launch is if you break even or are just slightly negative right off the bat. Then your job is to optimize your campaign
Now there are several other scenario you can hit:
You’re getting barely any traffic, but the offer is converting! You need to bid on more keywords or increase your bids if your bid position is low.
You’re getting lots of traffic, but no conversions. You’re either bidding on the wrong keywords, or have a poor traffic source (such as some smaller ppc search engines or the Google content network, etc)
You’re getting lots of traffic, have conversion, but your ROI is low. Your either bidding too high, and if that’s not the case then there’s a problem with your landing page, I would revamp your landing page.
No matter what scenario your campaign ends up in the key to success is persistence.
Think about it, if other affiliates are succeeding with the offer, then it’s only matter of getting the right traffic to a landing page(s) that converts.
You have to have the mindset: I’m going to keep testing different landing pages, ads, keywords, and traffic sources until I get this offer profitable.
Once you’re at the point where you’re getting decent traffic and your landing page is converting, albeit you may still be breaking even or slightly negative, then you’re ready to go on to the next step, optimization, which I’ll discuss in the next post.

8 questions and answers for Affiliate Marketing beginners
I quite often get beginners to affiliate marketing asking me questions via MSN, email or on various forums. Now I don’t mind this at all. Here is my top 8 questions and answers that I get asked most often.
1. What is the best affiliate program?
Now how am I supposed to answer this? The “best” affiliate program will differ from site to site. Lets say that my best performing affiliate program right now is William Hill Bingo, because I feature it heavily on my bingo site. Does that mean you should promote it on your blog for digital cameras? Of course not! Instead try asking these questions…”What is the best performing affiliate program in the electrical sector, specifically digital cameras”. Then drill down and ask why, does the program offer a high CPA? Maybe it has a zero reversal policy or just converts damn well. This is the information you need to find out.
2. What is the best affiliate network?
As above, impossible to answer. If I was a finance affiliate for example then I would maybe pick OMG who are pretty much a niche network working in the financial sector. So great if you are in finance, but not so great for my bingo site. Again ask which network is the best for say high street brands, Buy.at is the answer btw. Or maybe the best network for a wide range of smaller merchants and a very proactive staff? Webgains. What about a mix of the above 2? Affiliate Window.
3. What is a good CTR for Google AdWords?
As long as you are making money it doesn’t really matter. Seriously, people obsess about this but at the end of the day if you are making money then that’s what counts. I have some campaigns that have CTR rates at 70% but earn very little, some at 2% that earn me enough for a new car. It doesn’t matter.
4. How many clicks should I send to a merchant to see if they convert?
500. Not 10, not 100 but 500. Some people will argue that it should be lower but I always send at least 500 very targeted clicks via a ppc campaign before I give it a hit/miss.
5. Are there any eBooks I should read to learn about affiliate marketing/PPC/SEO?
No, none. I’ve never read any and don’t know any successful affiliate marketeers who have either. Instead read blogs and forums and most of all, just do it! Nothing beats good old fashioned trial and error.
6. What is the best niche to promote? What makes the most money?
Again, impossible to answer. I operate in a few niches now that are very profitable to me - but only because I have been here for years and have a loyal user base, established sites and good traffic. For a newbie to enter would be very hard and would involve a lot of cash - for ppc. Even then there are no guarantees. Learn about link building, directory and article submissions. But more importantly just build a good site that people will *want* to link to. Thats all there is to it.

1. What is the best affiliate program?
Now how am I supposed to answer this? The “best” affiliate program will differ from site to site. Lets say that my best performing affiliate program right now is William Hill Bingo, because I feature it heavily on my bingo site. Does that mean you should promote it on your blog for digital cameras? Of course not! Instead try asking these questions…”What is the best performing affiliate program in the electrical sector, specifically digital cameras”. Then drill down and ask why, does the program offer a high CPA? Maybe it has a zero reversal policy or just converts damn well. This is the information you need to find out.
2. What is the best affiliate network?
As above, impossible to answer. If I was a finance affiliate for example then I would maybe pick OMG who are pretty much a niche network working in the financial sector. So great if you are in finance, but not so great for my bingo site. Again ask which network is the best for say high street brands, Buy.at is the answer btw. Or maybe the best network for a wide range of smaller merchants and a very proactive staff? Webgains. What about a mix of the above 2? Affiliate Window.
3. What is a good CTR for Google AdWords?
As long as you are making money it doesn’t really matter. Seriously, people obsess about this but at the end of the day if you are making money then that’s what counts. I have some campaigns that have CTR rates at 70% but earn very little, some at 2% that earn me enough for a new car. It doesn’t matter.
4. How many clicks should I send to a merchant to see if they convert?
500. Not 10, not 100 but 500. Some people will argue that it should be lower but I always send at least 500 very targeted clicks via a ppc campaign before I give it a hit/miss.
5. Are there any eBooks I should read to learn about affiliate marketing/PPC/SEO?
No, none. I’ve never read any and don’t know any successful affiliate marketeers who have either. Instead read blogs and forums and most of all, just do it! Nothing beats good old fashioned trial and error.

Again, impossible to answer. I operate in a few niches now that are very profitable to me - but only because I have been here for years and have a loyal user base, established sites and good traffic. For a newbie to enter would be very hard and would involve a lot of cash - for ppc. Even then there are no guarantees. How my automatic niche sites bring me $100/day
Hi,everyone,let me introduce myself(English is not my first language,so sorry for my english).I am in internet marketing for years in my own country.I have build many sites in the past few years.Things are changed very fast in internet,you need constantly think and keep up with it.Thanks to WF,I have learn so much in WF,and today,I will share my story,hope it will help you.
A few month ago,I saw a thread in WF talk about build a automatic niche blog,(thanks for Keith Kogane).I decide to follow his model and build a few automatic niche sites. Everything works fine except one thing,I can't find enough rss feed with full articles.Most rss feed is only including summary,some only have titles.Without full articles rss,this model will not working,so I have to stop this attempt.
A few weeks later,one of my friends send me a message,he want me test his new site - Convert any RSS to full text Rss, it can convert normal rss to full content rss.This is what I just looking for.So I try this service with the automatic site model and find it works great.
Current now,I have 3 accounts with fullrssfeed.com,and already build 12 niche wordpress based sites and a small forum with those accounts.All sites set to automatically update everyday.I add adsense code and a few affiliate links in all sites.Most of money comes from adsense.The average earnings of my adsense is $80/day,some day it reach $100.This is very inspire,my adsense account only earn a few dollars a day before.
Ok,I will show the detail of what I do now.
1.First thing always keywords research,and choose niches for your sites.
2.Setup wordpressmu.For niche wordpress sites,I use wordpressmu,I use it because it is easy to manage,only need install once,and use one database for all sites.And more,wordpress and its plugins update frequently,with wordpressmu,it only need update once,if you use wordpress for each site,you need do same thing several times.

I usually create a few full rss feed url for each of my sites.
7.Here is the end of setup.From now on,the big thing is promote your sites.For those niche sites,most of my traffic is from google.So seo is important.There are many threads in the forum talk about promote that you can follow.Like:

Everyday,I spend about 1 hour for thost sites.Usually use a few minutes for 'Published' job as mentioned before,and spend most time to do promote and seo,like backlinks,social bookmark,etc.BTW I still think backlink is the most important thing for seo.

I set some of my sites semi-automatically.If you want your site more professional,Don't 'setup and forget it'.If you have no time to update and promote sites everyday,do it once a week,just don't give up.Insist on this for a few month,some of keywords will get good position in google,and you will get good result.
All my contents are from other sites,so copyright is first thing.Usually I will contact those sites ask them if I can use their contents by including their links in the post,most webmasters are willing to do it,because they will get backlinks and a few traffic from my sites.Also someone may ask all contents are from other sites,will google punish my sites by this? With my experience,if you sites copy from one site,usually it will be punished,if it your stuff are from many sites,it will not happen,at least all my sites are fine.Each of my sites use more than 4 full rss feed url,so the contents in each of my site are from more than 4 sites.
I have setup a small forum about one month before,also use full rss to do automatic posts.For forum,you can use Vbulletin or Simple Machine Forum,VB have 'RSS Feed' tool for import post automatically,SMF can use Mod 'RSS Feed Poster' do same job.I can not find any similar Mod in PHPBB forum.My forum post more than 100 Topics everyday automatically.Because this forum is new,I will post my experience later.

Article Spinning Tips
I've been manually spinning quite a lot of articles lately and wanted to share with you a couple tips.
Firstly, look to break a sentence down into 2, 3 or 4 parts (depending on how long it is) and then spin short phrases within it. Doing so creates a fair few variations of a sentence whilst keeping the structure and sense of it. For example...
{Making sure|Ensuring} {everyone is|employees are} {working toward|focused on} a {common |}goal {can be|is} as simple as {writing|noting} the goals down and {posting|sticking} them in {a common|an easily visible} area. {To keep employees right up-to-date|Taking this a step further}, {management|managers} {can|could} even plot the progress {toward the goals|being made}. {This is advisable|Try this} because {simply|only} {finding out|being made aware} {at the end of the time period allotted|after the allotted time has elapsed} that a goal was not {achieved|reached|accomplished} {does little to boost|damages} morale.
Secondly, try to vary the length of sentences. I've found this to significantly affect how 'unique' an article is classed as. This is how you can do it...

As a bonus tip, using a piece of software called 'Power Article Rewriter' makes it really simple to add spinning syntax to an article. If you're spinning articles and not using it, or at least something that does a similar job, then you're missing out.
Finally, before anyone jumps in and says that I'm wasting my time spinning articles, and the whole duplicate content debate kicks off again, I spin articles because I've found that people are more willing to publish them on their websites and blogs if they are at least a bit different from what has already been published elsewhere

AdSense annnounces new category filters for publishers
I am at the ADSPACE conference where Brad Bender from Google is giving his opening keynote. And as I suspected, they did announce something new for publishers. AdSense has announced some new category filters for publishers.
Brad didn’t go into too much detail, but it will allow publishers to filter out ads by categories. I am hoping one of the categories will be weight loss, so publishers can effectively get rid of all those rules of a flat stomach ads
This feature will be in beta, so I will see if I can find out how publishers can get into the beta.
Google will be going into it in more detail later today at the Google Publisher Forum, at 2pm today at ADSPACE. As you can imagine, I will be asking some questions about the new category filtering, (I am the session moderator) so be sure to post any questions you have about it.

More details on category filtering from AdSense
I blogged earlier about the new Google AdSense category targeting that was announced earlier today. So, I asked the AdSense team plenty of questions while they were on the ADSPACE panel.
First, this is in a limited beta, meaning if you haven’t already been asked to participate, you won’t be in the initial wave of beta testers. They didn’t have a timeline for when it would be expanded, but I would expect that if the initial tests go well, it should become more widely available. If you have an account rep, you might want to contact him or her to see if you can get in on the next wave.
For those who are wanting the ability to block weight loss ads, you are in luck… weight loss is one of the categories. There are 11 in total including costmetic procedures & body modification; dating; drugs & supplements; get rich quick; politics; religion; ringtones and downloadables; sexual & reproductive health; sexually suggestive; video games (casual and online); weight loss.
I think the categories are pretty well chosen, and cover the biggest publisher pain points of the types of ads publishers don’t want on their sites.

Why Chitika rocks
Found a really good review of Chitika. Chitika is a good advertising program, especially in combination with AdSense. They have relevant ads and thus high CPC. The layout is especially tricky, but read about it below.

Now comes the part what makes Chitika special: Chitika does not scan the content of the page to display relevant ads, they scan the search strings which were used to enter the website.
By just looking at for example “Pizza in New York” compared to thousands of lines of unnecessary code Chitika is able to display extremely relevant ads. Sometimes even more relevant than Google AdSense (more at the end of this review)…..
By displaying relevant ads they are able to pay the publisher top CPC rates because the Return of Investment for the advertiser is very high (advantage of content relevant ads). One example: Dating ads on a website about insurance will most likely result in absolutely no conversions. It’s very easy to test how relevant your Chitika ads will be. Go to a website who runs Chitika ads and append “#chitikatest=New York Pizza” to the end of the URL, press enter and reload the website. You should then see advertisements about whatever you entered, in my case New York Pizza. If you are looking for a URL then just go to Wikihow. One special example I would like to point out is this url. The drink “New York Egg cream” is something special for New York. Have a look on the link and then compare the relevancy of the AdSense ads with the relevancy of the Chitika ads. Google only shows general new york ads whereas Chitika shows ads of local stores. Amazing isn’t it?
Chitika’s Ad Layout
When I first had a look on the default layout of Chitika’s ads I was amazed. I previously made a post about psychological AdSense optimization where I talked about colors and all that. The layout is extremely important as it decides whether the user clicks on the ad or doesn’t.
Chitika offers all methods of optimizing your ads, changing the title color, text color, border color and URL color. That’s of course what Google offers as well but there is one significant difference. Google’s TOS disallows placing images next to your advertisements because they think that that could somehow encourage the user to click the ads. What’s the big deal? That only means more money. The visitor sees the image and then automatically focuses the ad unit next to it resulting in more clicks. That’s a clever trick which Chitika automatically implements. Check out the picture, Chitika automatically displays relevant images next to the ads! Amazing, I was stunned when I saw that the first time. That of course means more revenue for you.
How much revenue can the Chitika publisher expect?
First thing we talked about was the relevancy of the ads. The relevancy is the main factor for high CPC. Chitika is able to display relevant ads as I showed you above. The result is a CPC as high as together with AdSense. I even have a higher CPC on my gaming site with Chitika than with AdSense. That’s because AdSense performs really poor for everyone in the Gaming niche. The CPC you can expect lays anywhere between 75 and 125 percent of your AdSense CPC.
Next factor is the Click Through Rate (CTR), by allowing major customizations and placing images next to the ads the Chitika CTR lays somewhere between 100 and even up to 250 percent of your AdSense CTR. Please keep in mind that most people don’t use Chitika to replace AdSense but as an additional ad on the website. Look at Wikihow above, they are using 3 AdSense content units and 1 Chitika unit near the footer. The footer is a relatively bad placement (see the heat map), but still the owner reported a CTR of above 1 percent, which is tremendous! By using Chitika as additional source of income you are able to increase your total earnings by 10-20 percent. Do you want to miss that?
For which sites does Chitika perform best?
Chitika performs very good for all websites. The sites AdSense performs bad for are the sites Chitika performs very good for. Poor text-content websites for example.
The AdSense crawler is unable to find any content to display AdSense ads on video sites for example. They are not able analyze the video, they can only check out the description of the video, the title, the tags or the comments. In a lot of cases those aren’t however that relevant. Chitika is able to display relevant ads for the visitor by just analyzing the tiny search string which reveals what the visitor was actually looking for!
All websites work well together with Chitika, the best websites are in my opinion video sites and also local sites (see the Pizza example above).
In terms of CPC the same niches as with AdSense peform best. That’s simply because the ROI for the advertiser is high (the advertiser earns a lot if someone purchases something) and resulting in spending more money into ad-campaigns. Car sites, Insurance sites, medical sites, foreclosure sites, lawyer sites, local sites and a lot more perform really good. Low paying niches are the same as together with AdSense, but that’s not the fault of the advertising program, it’s the problem of the niche. My niche is relatively low paying but still I am earning more than before.

I have been using Chitika for almost a month now, mainly to get away from AdSense as only source of income. My website is in the gaming niche not a that good niche in terms of advertising because of the young audience and no really expensive products. Nonetheless my Chitika CPC is 30 percent higher than my AdSense CPC, which stunned me at first because AdSense was priorly the program that got me the highest CPC. Looking at my monthly revenue now around 20 percent comes from Chitika which is not that much of course. But considering that only 10 percent of my search engine visitor see the ads and generate 20 percent of my total income then yes, that’s a nice in earnings. I am really satisfied.

3. Pick An IM Guru use them as a mentor by replicate everything they do in your own niche. This is the fastest way to succeed. Research thier posts, pages, sites, squeeze pages, opt in auto responses etc.. Then apply that to your business in another niche.
4. Keep aiming for more reach and leverage - the key to huge success is more reach (list size or traffic) and more leverage (networks of affiliates or viral products or links).
5. Focus on a niche you love - nothing will get your creative and motivational juices running better then something you love doing. It will come across in everything you do and say. Its a surefire kick start to success.

Look up hot trends that can potentially be monetized and trends that will remain reasonably hot longer then a day or two...
Any thing in the top 100 is getting insane volumes of traffic
Clicking on the related searches will give you good additional terms to use
Clicking on the Blogs that come up will give you great ideas for how they are monetizing it.
You have two options to monetize the term through Adsense or through affilaite hoplinks
2. Got to http://www2.blogger.com/ and set up a blog with the exact keywords in the blogs name and title
set up an addtional blog or two using the related search keywords you found
3. Search on these keywords and find some information and a video plus images to put on your blog
4. Set up the blog with some text, an adsense module, the pictures and video
5. Now tell the world your blog is out there using Technorati, pingomatic, spotback, lulu, free classifieds and an article or two published to directories with instant publication like article city.
6. Get on a few forums and blogs related to the search term , place some back links and bang you will have a ton of traffic in no time.....
Once youve done this a few times You should be able to do this whole process in under 1 hour and it should make you $15 -$100 per day in adsense for at least a week then often they will fade right down.
This method is an absolute no brainer it works almost every time and it starts working very very fast for me, but i no longer use it as im changing my focus to long term passive income sources only.......

Google AdWords广告优化的12个技巧(转)
这篇文章要向大家展示在Google AdWords关键词排名广告中创建成功的广告内容的一些技巧。我已经用这些方法对Google的按点击付费广告服务测试了有一段时间了,结果非常成功。这12个技巧可以帮助你在Google关键词排名广告中创建一个较高的点击率,并以更低的价格排在前面。—正如你所期待的!
1. 锁定正确的目标群体
通过选择某种语言和某个国家或地区来锁定你的潜在客户群体。例如,你可以设定只让你的广告出现在某个特定国家的潜在客户,比如现在有许多讲法语的国家,但如果你的目标客户只在加拿大,则你可以把除加拿大以外的其他讲法语的国家屏蔽掉。换言之,法国的查询者是无法“点击”你的广告的,因为它不会出现。从而避免了由于这部分点击带给你的额外的和不必要的支出了。
2. 提炼广告中的关键词

7. 广告中应包含能够抓住注意力的词
在广告的标题中,应提供有能够抓住查询者注意力的词。例如“免费的”,“新的”等等。不过同时要确保没有违背Google的关键词编辑指导规则。例如:如果使用了“免费”,那么在你广告直接链接的页面必须有相对应的免费的产品或服务;如果使用了“新的”,那么你推出的产品或服务不能超过半年。而且如果通过你的商务或第三方的检验发现你不能有相关的保证,那么在你的广告中就不能包含相关的或主观的词语,例如:“最好的”,“最廉价的”,“顶级的”,“第一”等等。
8. 使用能够激发客户情感和购买欲望的措词
在广告中应使用给人印象深刻和号召行动的措词,以达到激发客户情感(煽情一些)和购买欲望的目的。譬如象“免费的”,“便宜的”,“特别提供”,“限时提供”,“高招”,“诀窍”,“增强的”,“免费送货”等等这些词都属于能够给人留下深刻印象的措词。而象“现在买——便宜一半”,“免费测试版—现在就下载”,“今天最后一天”等等则属于号召行动的措词。在你的广告中应清清楚楚地体现你的产品或服务到底好在什么地方,或者有哪些与众不同之处。同时要确保这些描述你产品或服务的词是准确而恰当的。Google会把与你提供的产品或服务名不符实的那些词语从你广告中剔除出去。
9. 产品营销应具有独特的卖点主张(USP)
Rosser Reeves提出了产品的核心概念,也称核心卖点(即Unique Selling Proposition,简称USP,即独特的卖点主张/销售主张)。USP是产品核心价值的外在表现,也是传递给消费者的最重要的产品信息。Rosser Reeves主张,在制作广告时,最重要的是发现其USP,即(1) 必须包含特定的商品效益;(2) 须是独特的、唯一的、新颖的,且与销售相关的。当同类产品在质量上打了个平手时,胜负的关键就集中在消费者对于商标乃至企业本身的印象了。因而找出产品的USP无论对产品传播、品牌树立还是销售都具有不可估量的拉动效应。
10. 将广告链向关联的着陆网页(Landing Page)
首先让我们来看看什么是着陆网页。着陆网页的设置是为了让网络消费者能够更快速,更顺畅地接触到讯息。对着陆网页最简单的定义就是“点广告之后客户被带入的网页”,即客户光临的第一个网页页面。
11.把太普通的词从你的广告中剔除出去
譬如a, in, on, it, of, etc等等,这些词都是没有必要的。只要不是绝对需要的词,你都可以把它们从你的广告中请出去,以此保证广告中每个词都具有相当的含金量。

5. 广告中应包含目标关键词
在你的广告标题和内容中应包含具体的目标关键词。Google会把广告中与查询匹配的关键词加粗进行突出。大家都知道,当一个查询者浏览查询结果时,他其实是在找键入的关键词。这时以粗体突出的查询关键词自然能够吸引查询者的注意力。也正是由于这个原因,包含关键词的广告往往会比那些不包含关键词的广告效果要好的多。
6. 强调产品和服务的好处
在你的广告中应提供一到几个你产品或服务能够为客户带来的主要益处。例如:赚更多钱,保持青春,减肥,身体更健康,生活的更快乐,等等诸如此类的好处。
7. 广告中应包含能够抓住注意力的词
在广告的标题中,应提供有能够抓住查询者注意力的词。例如“免费的”,“新的”等等。不过同时要确保没有违背Google的关键词编辑指导规则。例如:如果使用了“免费”,那么在你广告直接链接的页面必须有相对应的免费的产品或服务;如果使用了“新的”,那么你推出的产品或服务不能超过半年。而且如果通过你的商务或第三方的检验发现你不能有相关的保证,那么在你的广告中就不能包含相关的或主观的词语,例如:“最好的”,“最廉价的”,“顶级的”,“第一”等等。
8. 使用能够激发客户情感和购买欲望的措词
在广告中应使用给人印象深刻和号召行动的措词,以达到激发客户情感(煽情一些)和购买欲望的目的。譬如象“免费的”,“便宜的”,“特别提供”,“限时提供”,“高招”,“诀窍”,“增强的”,“免费送货”等等这些词都属于能够给人留下深刻印象的措词。而象“现在买——便宜一半”,“免费测试版—现在就下载”,“今天最后一天”等等则属于号召行动的措词。在你的广告中应清清楚楚地体现你的产品或服务到底好在什么地方,或者有哪些与众不同之处。同时要确保这些描述你产品或服务的词是准确而恰当的。Google会把与你提供的产品或服务名不符实的那些词语从你广告中剔除出去。
9. 产品营销应具有独特的卖点主张(USP)
Rosser Reeves提出了产品的核心概念,也称核心卖点(即Unique Selling Proposition,简称USP,即独特的卖点主张/销售主张)。USP是产品核心价值的外在表现,也是传递给消费者的最重要的产品信息。Rosser Reeves主张,在制作广告时,最重要的是发现其USP,即(1) 必须包含特定的商品效益;(2) 须是独特的、唯一的、新颖的,且与销售相关的。当同类产品在质量上打了个平手时,胜负的关键就集中在消费者对于商标乃至企业本身的印象了。因而找出产品的USP无论对产品传播、品牌树立还是销售都具有不可估量的拉动效应。
10. 将广告链向关联的着陆网页(Landing Page)
首先让我们来看看什么是着陆网页。着陆网页的设置是为了让网络消费者能够更快速,更顺畅地接触到讯息。对着陆网页最简单的定义就是“点广告之后客户被带入的网页”,即客户光临的第一个网页页面。
11.把太普通的词从你的广告中剔除出去
譬如a, in, on, it, of, etc等等,这些词都是没有必要的。只要不是绝对需要的词,你都可以把它们从你的广告中请出去,以此保证广告中每个词都具有相当的含金量。
12. 阻止寻求免费服务或产品的人来点击你的广告
你可以在广告的最后加上产品或服务的价格,通过此方式可以避免那些从网上寻求免费服务或产品的人点击你的广告,从而增加不必要的广告开销。这样做不但能够提高你的潜在客户的总体转化比例,同时还降低了平均客户取得成本。这样做可能会对你的广告点击率有一定的影响,不过大家对这一点大可不必担心。因为你的目标毕竟不是网上的每一位访问者,而是针对你的潜在的真正客户。而往往那些从网络上寻找免费资源的人永远也不能成为你的真正客户。结论: 请记住广告就是永无止歇的一系列测试。要经常追踪你的广告,要坚持不懈地测试不同关键词和广告内容。通过对不同版本内容的比较来改进和提高你的潜在客户的转化比例,进而降低你的客户取得成本。

网赚一段时间了,发现Lead是一个前期投入不大,后期收入不少的项目,想跟大家交流交流..
所谓的Lead资源就是容易做,不随便K号的公司.很多人资源难找,其实不然.只要你认认真真地看看你所做的公司,很容易就能顺藤摸瓜地找到很多公司,至于是不是资源,那只有你自己做过才知道了.方法也很简单,每天抽几分钟做一做,看看支付爽不爽快.最多耗你一个月的周期,而且你可以同时测试几个站,这并不影响你正常的工作.
一般的刚刚开始的小公司都是不需要身份验证就可以做的,主要是想吸引多一些affiliates来帮他们赚钱.而且他们会像HYIP或者一些别的站一样在各大网站上大肆宣传(Lead行业的网站).所以,新的资源是源源不断的.
大公司则主要把精力放在拉广告商和管理affiliates,所以很多人觉得大公司验证麻烦+容易K号.不过你可以换一个思维方式,你便觉得平衡一些.假设你在某个公司刚刚开始运营的时候就开始做(当然不能太疯狂的做假),当这间公司有一定规模后,你也有了一定的"良好"记录,这时候的公司,可能会每年进行一次大审查,其他时候,他们也就不会怎么管这些"好的"affiliates了..
一旦你有了这么样的一个号,外加与affiliate manager保持联系和良好的关系,那么我可以说,你有一个不死之号了(当然你做得太假,被广告商投诉了,神也救不了你了).
我曾经用国内的IP登陆帐号,而且affiliate manager也查过了IP,但是为什么没有K号?其实很简单,我跟他关系不错,在回国度假前给他去了一封信,后面的就不用说了.我个人认为这一点,比起一般的做假要高明许多.

所谓的Lead资源就是容易做,不随便K号的公司.很多人资源难找,其实不然.只要你认认真真地看看你所做的公司,很容易就能顺藤摸瓜地找到很多公司,至于是不是资源,那只有你自己做过才知道了.方法也很简单,每天抽几分钟做一做,看看支付爽不爽快.最多耗你一个月的周期,而且你可以同时测试几个站,这并不影响你正常的工作.
一般的刚刚开始的小公司都是不需要身份验证就可以做的,主要是想吸引多一些affiliates来帮他们赚钱.而且他们会像HYIP或者一些别的站一样在各大网站上大肆宣传(Lead行业的网站).所以,新的资源是源源不断的.
大公司则主要把精力放在拉广告商和管理affiliates,所以很多人觉得大公司验证麻烦+容易K号.不过你可以换一个思维方式,你便觉得平衡一些.假设你在某个公司刚刚开始运营的时候就开始做(当然不能太疯狂的做假),当这间公司有一定规模后,你也有了一定的"良好"记录,这时候的公司,可能会每年进行一次大审查,其他时候,他们也就不会怎么管这些"好的"affiliates了..
一旦你有了这么样的一个号,外加与affiliate manager保持联系和良好的关系,那么我可以说,你有一个不死之号了(当然你做得太假,被广告商投诉了,神也救不了你了).
我曾经用国内的IP登陆帐号,而且affiliate manager也查过了IP,但是为什么没有K号?其实很简单,我跟他关系不错,在回国度假前给他去了一封信,后面的就不用说了.我个人认为这一点,比起一般的做假要高明许多.

加入群组博客,可以一定程度上减少写作压力,借助已建立的品牌与渠道,在更短时间内获得更多的展示。一些群组如下:

2)尽力地写作,先不要考虑直接的赚钱手段

人们希望看到与文章主题相关的信息,如果他们喜欢所找到的东西,那么就想办法让他们得到更多想要的(内容、商品、服务)。把读者当做上帝,发布者选择的产品或服务应尽可能符合网站的编辑原则,这可以确保文章与推广信息之间保持连续性、一致性。
2)互补性
附加广告或赞助信息需要为整体内容带来价值,不考虑赞助商与自身内容之间的相关性将浪费双方的机会。
3)视觉礼仪
赞助、文字广告、推广信息等无需特别引起读者视觉上的注意,只需聪明而适当地陈列,确保格式化、清晰、可读、可打印,就如页面上其他内容一样。可通过CSS全面控制布局与位置。
4)发布者对内容的控制
发布者必须自己做主。这是我的观点,应由发布者自身而非广告主来控制什么广告显示在页面上。发布者必须扮演内容管理者的角色,不仅是尊重所写的内容,也是对所推广内容的尊重。编辑与营销必须紧密结合,这是新媒体的特征与优势。
Blogads以及一些文字链交换联盟允许发布者选择广告主。Adsense提供了一定程度上的控制能力,允许发布者过滤上至200个广告商。但最理想地,发布者应能够自主选择。
5)发布者的认可
发布者应某种程度上认可所广告的产品,通过“推荐”为读者提供附加价值。我多次拒绝我自己不信任的付费联盟或广告主,同时我也免费为我认为值得我的读者注意的很多公司和产品提供广告(如果你需要,我可以提供证据)。

尽管很多人对此存在争议,但越来越多的公司正在通过博客和独立网站讨论特定的话题或推广产品。个人博客有机会成为公司正式的博客作者,以收费或免费的方式接受特定的写作任务。作为读者也许会担心,以前所信任的博客现在因为钱而写文章,你还会继续读他的文章吗?
写字赚钱并不是见不得人的事情,围绕某个话题收费写作,这不就是报纸杂志要求他们的编辑所做的吗?
如果收费写手有足够的透明度、责任感与专业性,那么这和其他任何活动一样是正当合法的。

接受读者的捐赠,如PayPal,国内的支付宝、宝贝,都提供简单易用的捐赠按钮。
如果上述的手段都不能奏效,还可以考虑
1)加入发布者网络
如果你刚开始博客,需要更多的流量、暴光度与经验,在你能亲自操作上述方法之前可考虑加入发布者网络(Chategg注:似乎相反,中文博客需要博到一定的知名度以后才有“资格”加入这些网络。)
加入群组博客,可以一定程度上减少写作压力,借助已建立的品牌与渠道,在更短时间内获得更多的展示。一些群组如下:

2)尽力地写作,先不要考虑直接的赚钱手段
博客让你得以在感兴趣的领域拉近与其他人的距离,你可以不受任何限制,尽管写,逐渐建立你的声望,当人们需要你的文字时,你的回报就来了,这是水到渠成的。利用博客,展示你对某些话题与产品的评论、研究、分析能力,是最好的推销自己的手段。
上述的方法并不是互相排斥的,可以并行使用,从而建立多种收入渠道。
根据我的经验提出以下指导原则:
1)相关度与价值
人们希望看到与文章主题相关的信息,如果他们喜欢所找到的东西,那么就想办法让他们得到更多想要的(内容、商品、服务)。把读者当做上帝,发布者选择的产品或服务应尽可能符合网站的编辑原则,这可以确保文章与推广信息之间保持连续性、一致性。
2)互补性
附加广告或赞助信息需要为整体内容带来价值,不考虑赞助商与自身内容之间的相关性将浪费双方的机会。
3)视觉礼仪
赞助、文字广告、推广信息等无需特别引起读者视觉上的注意,只需聪明而适当地陈列,确保格式化、清晰、可读、可打印,就如页面上其他内容一样。可通过CSS全面控制布局与位置。
4)发布者对内容的控制
发布者必须自己做主。这是我的观点,应由发布者自身而非广告主来控制什么广告显示在页面上。发布者必须扮演内容管理者的角色,不仅是尊重所写的内容,也是对所推广内容的尊重。编辑与营销必须紧密结合,这是新媒体的特征与优势。
Blogads以及一些文字链交换联盟允许发布者选择广告主。Adsense提供了一定程度上的控制能力,允许发布者过滤上至200个广告商。但最理想地,发布者应能够自主选择。
5)发布者的认可
发布者应某种程度上认可所广告的产品,通过“推荐”为读者提供附加价值。我多次拒绝我自己不信任的付费联盟或广告主,同时我也免费为我认为值得我的读者注意的很多公司和产品提供广告(如果你需要,我可以提供证据)。
究竟采用什么赚钱策略呢?应使收入渠道多样化,也就是不要把所有鸡蛋放在同一个篮子里。我的经验是,开拓多种小的收入来源,汇聚起来收入就可观了。依赖某一项大的收入来源是危险的,如果资源消失,那你的生存能力也随之消失。
